Pisces is the twelfth – and the last – sign of the zodiac. This position alone makes for a very interesting quality of this sign, which can be defined as “blending”. It’s the sign that makes the transition to the aggressive and renewed Aries. Its ruler, Neptune, deals with romance and disillusion, with higher spirit, but also deception. Pisces is the end of a cycle.

Piscean natives are more often than not “out of this world”. They tend to float, rather than walk and the reason for that is a strange mix of emotions and intuition. Although they can be incredibly loyal – due to their innate sense of sacrifice – they can also be perceived ruthless in the case of a big deception. But fooled be not about this appearance, because deep down they will continue to keep warm feelings almost indefinitely, it’s just a shield they try to raise. And they’re not always successful with this shield, leaving their emotional field opened to all sort of electric storms, after which they’re completely smashed down to pieces. But it’s this avalanche of debris that makes them so fascinating, this almost impossible way of functioning in such a complicated maze of feelings and never fulfilled commitments.

Pisces are by nature intuitive, but, mind you, their intuition, as precise as it may be, is not always tuned to the right “realm”. They may have very good insights from the spiritual point of view, but they’re completely unable to make them work on a day to day basis. As partners, they are considered the most “slippery” sign of the zodiac: the more you try to build something solid with them, the more they will want to escape.

Pisces rules the twelfth house of the zodiac.
