Sagittarius

sagittarius6
November 22 – December 21

Element: Fire
Quality: Mutable
Ruling house: Ninth
Ruling planets: Jupiter

Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the zodiac. It’s ruled by the planet of justice, optimism and expansion, Jupiter. Sagittarius natives are either adventurers or priests. They tend to have a natural inclination to evangelize – other people, or themselves. They’re kind, but somehow unreliable, not because they genuinely don’t care about their commitments, but because they’re always looking up to the next adventure.

They’re naturally born explorers, being able to discover new places or new concepts. If Scorpio is looking down to find new stuff, Sagittarius is looking up and above. They’re always set to something new on the surface of things, going from one place to another, in a joyful and intense trip.

Masters of audacious goals and, often, visionaries, Sagittarius could very much benefit from a more grounded approach. If they can find this, their tendency to spiral up in generous, but, more often than not, impossible projects or schemes, can be toned down. Otherwise they really risk to heat up to the point of burning out.

Sagittarius, as all the other Fire signs have also a very generous nature, but they tend to be more careless than other signs. Because of that, they usually project an image of exaggerated independence, sometimes to the point of egotism, which is nothing more than their rebellious and curious nature. Because of that, they tend to attract either more grounding partners, or people just as afraid as commitments as they are.

If positively aspected, Sagittarius can make great spiritual leaders, explorers or scientists, especially in areas related to social engineering, law or justice.

Sagittarius rules the ninth house of the zodiac.
